Hello Twin Cities Collective and happy June!
Big update: we’re bringing back the marketing workshops (on Zoom)
Twin Cities Collective has always been about helping you find your people — and somehow we’ve grown this community to almost 6,000 followers.
But here’s the behind-the-scenes shift I’ve been feeling for a while:
The events I share here are for networking. They’re for leaving the house, meeting real humans, and building social capital in the Twin Cities.
The workshops I teach are for education. And honestly? For education, I’ve found I learn better when I can be cozy at home with a notebook and a tab open.
Back in the day, I used to host marketing workshops in person — and then during the pandemic we moved them onto Zoom. And I forgot how much I missed that format: show up, learn something useful, get a clear next step, then go live your life.
Because as fun as in-person workshops can be… they’re also a lot:
finding venues
managing logistics
hoping the weather cooperates
making people drive across town (hello, current gas prices)
Plus, if I’m being real: when I’m at an in-person event, I usually just want to talk to people the whole time. (That’s the whole point.)
So here’s what’s changing:
The TCC Marketing Hour (paid subscribers)
I’m launching a paid monthly workshop series called The TCC Marketing Hour — lunch-hour, “lunch & learn” style marketing workshops on Zoom.
This month is free (come check it out!). This month will also be on the last Wednesday of June, when usually they will be the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
