Hello hello, and welcome back to Twin Cities Collective!

It has been a busy summer in the Twin Cities — patio season, lake days, festivals, long weekends, everyone trying to squeeze in as much outside time as possible. But even with summer schedules, vacations, and half your group chat being “out of town this weekend,” there are still a ton of ways to get out, meet people, and plug into the local community.

If you’re feeling a little bored, looking for something to do in town, or wanting to meet new people beyond your usual circle, early July has plenty going on — especially if you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, student, creative, tech person, AI-curious human, or just someone who wants to make more local connections.

And since we’ve had a lot of new subscribers lately:— we just hit 6,000 subscribers!

🎉hi, I’m Jenna! 👋 I run Twin Cities Collective, where I curate local networking events, business meetups, founder gatherings, creative events, AI/tech happenings, and community-centered things to do around Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs.

The focus here is mostly business-y — small business, startups, entrepreneurship, tech, creative work, and general networking — but we also like to include events that simply help people get out of the house and meet other interesting humans.

Basically: if you want to build your network, find your people, support local events, or just have a reason to leave the house that isn’t another Target run, you’re in the right place.

Here are a few events happening in early July:

Quick note: we have a TCC Virtual Social Media Workshop July 15th!

If social media has been feeling like a second full-time job, today’s workshop is for you: Post Less, Get More: A Smarter System for Social Media for Small Business.

We’ll walk through a simple, repeatable content system for small business owners, freelancers, and entrepreneurs — including how to use AI to brainstorm and write faster, organize your workflow in Notion, batch content, schedule with tools like Metricool, use analytics, and turn one idea into weeks of posts instead of constantly starting from scratch.

💵 Pricing: $10

✨ Paid subscriber perk: If you’re a paid Twin Cities Collective subscriber at $5/month, this workshop is included in your membership.
